Event Overview

As part of the Global Investment Futures campaign and in collaboration with the Investment Association, the City of London Corporation and the Department for International Trade, the IA Engine is again pleased to invite you to this in-person event as we celebrate innovation on a global stage.

In the face of economic uncertainty and turbulent market conditions, the need for investment managers to create efficiencies and improve client engagement has never been more pressing.

Engine’s mission is to enable investment managers to unlock opportunities through accessing cutting edge technology, and our flagship event at London’s historic Guildhall will explore new dimensions of innovation through technology in a collaborative and informative space.

The event will feature solution showcases from 10 innovative FinTech firms that have, or will be, participating in the Engine Innovator Programme, and we will hear from industry leaders on topics such as:

    •   The national and global outlook for FinTech investment, collaboration and regulation
    • The key challenges and opportunities facing investments, operations and distribution
  •   Next Generation – the client, the workforce, the skills and technology requirements
  •   The rise of the Metaverse, and what it means for Investment Management
  •   The growing role of Tokenisation, and the pathway to a DLT-native fund space

Event Programme

Join us for a pre-event session that brings together physical audiences from the UK and Singapore into one panel. Hear the latest on innovation in investment management from the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS)

In the face of turbulent market conditions, the need for investment managers to create efficiencies and improve client engagement has become more critical than ever. In this masterclass, we seek to help participants understand new innovations and access cutting edge technology in order to unlock new opportunities and chart the path of future growth in investment management.

This masterclass will explore the growing role of tokenisation and the pathway to a DLT-native fund space. Thought leaders will also share perspectives on the next generation of artificial intelligence, the impact of ChatGPT and how we can best harness developments in AI to create fresh opportunities for investment management.  Finally there will be discussions on the evolution of WealthTech and how to engage the next generation followed by an open discussion.
