In this webinar, our SME, Priscilla Gaudoin explores how third party risk management is being reshaped by operational resilience, regulatory scrutiny and rapid technology adoption. As firms rely more heavily on cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, data providers and outsourced services, supplier oversight can no longer be limited to onboarding checks, contracts and annual reviews. The key question is whether the firm understands which third parties support important business services, where critical dependencies sit, and what would happen if those providers failed, degraded or changed materially.

This session will examine:

  • why supplier oversight has become a board-level issue
  • what regulators increasingly expect firms to demonstrate
  • why AI and cloud providers create new forms of concentration, substitutability and fourth-party risk.

It will also introduce a practical resilience-based oversight framework, helping organisations distinguish between ordinary supplier management and true dependency oversight.

Attendees will leave with clearer prompts for identifying critical third parties, assessing potential impact, matching oversight to criticality and giving senior management and boards the information they need to make informed decisions about material third party exposures.
