Start Time:

Description:
The US-China trade war, the global pandemic, and other factors have combined to disrupt international trade and force businesses and governments to rethink supply chains. The new Omnicron COVID wave is further slowing both the production and delivery of goods. Equity markets are bound to react.

In this session, Gordon G. Chang will discuss the causes of supply chain challenges and how Beijing will either aggravate or resolve the crisis. Topics covered will include:

  • Where are the bottlenecks that led up to the supply chain breakdown?
  • What is the outlook for 2022? What could further disrupt distribution channels?
  • What is China’s role and how it will impact supply chains in 2022?
