Speaker Bio:
• With over 20 years international relations experience, Melanie Brock is the CEO of Melanie Brock Advisory and founder of the Nichigo Network. Brock also holds active advisory roles for the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan, Sega Sammy Holdings Inc., Advance, and the Australia-Japan Research Centre.
• Brock has worked in bilateral free trade agreements influencing regulatory and partnership outcomes for Japanese and Australian corporations in both domestic and global contexts. She is renowned for her contribution to the reconstruction after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Kamaishi, in addition to her continuous involvement in designing regional CSR activities in Japan. She’s also featured regularly in the media such as the Nikkei, Australian Financial Review and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
